SUP is suitable for all ages and abilities and is rapidly becoming the water sport of choice around the globe.

KA Adventure Sports was one of the very first schools to introduce SUP to the North East of England. We are proud to say that we are now one of the leaders of SUP development in Northumberland.

We benefit from a safety/support boat that enables us to provide unique paddle tours and explore the coastline, utilising the wind. SUP is arguably the best way to explore your local waterways, catch a wave, run downwind, take on some white water or race your mates, all using just one piece of kit. SUP is an astounding sport including so many disciplines, which are all so accessible to everyone.

KA Adventure Sports is a BSUPA (British Stand Up Paddle Association) and AALA accredited centre and all our instructors are fully qualified, experienced, encouraging, and will have you on the board and having fun in no time.

We offer one-off group SUP sessions or fully guided tours for the more experienced and adventurous. Just let us know what you are after and we can adapt to your needs.

For Beginners

Adults £45 per lesson

Our beginner paddleboard lessons are suitable for all ages and abilities. These sessions are designed for complete beginners who have no previous paddleboarding experience. During the session, we will be covering everything you need to know to be a competent paddler.

For Improvers

Adults £45 per lesson 
Children £35 per lesson

Our Improver sessions are a perfect way to develop your paddle skills, fitness and all things paddle boarding.

Let us know your experience at the start of the session and we can give you exactly what you need to take your SUP to the next level.

River Paddle Boarding (Wylam)

Adults £45 per session
Children £35 per session

Whether you are a beginner looking for your first experience, or an expert looking for a challenge, we at KA Adventure Sports will be able to fulfil your needs. We provide quality sessions along the river at Wylam.

SUP Coasteering (Beadnell)

Adults £45 per session
Children £35 per session

SUP Coasteering is a mixture of Stand Up Paddle boarding and Coasteering and takes place at Beadnell, Northumberland. It is a great, fun activity suitable for all ages and abilities.

If the weather is suitable, we can paddle around to the coasteering location, if not, it’s only a short walk.

SUP Tours

£60 per person

Northumberland is a magical place with ancient castles, rugged coastline and beautiful golden beaches – the most amazing place for Stand Up Paddle boarding (SUP).

The route will be adapted according to weather conditions, sea state and group ability. The whole group is sure to have an amazing, unforgettable experience!

GROUP BOOKINGS

We offer private parties at Beadnell. We can adapt party offerings to suit your needs, with a choice from SUP boards, surfboards, coasteering, inflatable tows behind our boat, or kite sports. Food and drinks on the beach can also be arranged.
